Isaac Hayes, possibly best known for his portrayal of the character “Chef” on South Park has died today at the age of 66. Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes within a day of each other? I can’t believe so many actors are dying this year.
Hayes was an actor, a singer, and a composer. He was introduced to the Songwriters Hall of Fame on June 9, 2005. He loved what he did and he did what he loved.
May he rest in peace.
There’s a new world record for most hot dogs eaten in 12 minutes. Hot dog eating champion Joey Chesnut took back the title for the Americans yesterday at New York’s annual hot dog eating contest in Coney Island. Here’s a video of the last half of the competition.
All I can say is there’s no way I could eat anywhere near 66 hot dogs in 12 minutes!
