When I read this I just had to comment. British model Elizabeth Hurley and new husband Arun Nayar recently tied the knot in India. They had some fun with their wedding and cracked jokes at the Hindu religion and wedding ceremony.
According to the Indian government, deliberate “outrage” of any religion is punishable by 3 years in prison. The couple drank alcohal before the cerimony and kissed near a sacred fire, apparently a fire that should never be kissed by… The courts are expected to decide the case within the next week, potentially putting both newlyweds behind bars for 3 entire years.
I think this is absolutely ridiculous.
